ABC Counseling does not participate directly with insurance companies; however we offer insurance friendly receipts if you are planning to seek reimbursement from your health care plan. ABC Counseling also participates with Care Credit.
If you are considering group enrollment, there are minimum criteria guidelines which you can find outlined in the services section. Other therapy trajectories would depend on the type of treatment you are receiving and established goals with your treatment provider. If you are seeking Prolonged Exposure therapy for PTSD, treatment length may vary, however it has shown to be effective in about 3 months of non-disrupted weekly sessions combined with DBT.
ABC Counseling is currently operating primarily in-person. Virtual sessions can be accommodated as clinically indicated and we recommend in-person sessions specifically for our DBT adherent model.
DBT is a cognitive behavioral treatment which combines individual therapy sessions with skill training groups and availability of in between session, on-call skills coaching. Treatment focuses on decreasing harmful and ineffective behaviors to enhance quality of life goals and improve mood regulation.
